Set high up in the clouds, this fantastical dreamworld was a blend of practical sets and 3D extensions created in-house at Gearshift. For the opening shot, director Jordan Barker channelled his inner Spike Jones, transforming a night time bedroom scene into a sunny rainbow sky. Most set dressing was practical including the back wall, which was choreographed on castors to peel away as the camera moved. We added in some CGI set pieces floating away to complete the illusion. Our on-camera talent was a pro at hitting her marks, along with Crane Op Eric Grauer and DP Martin Wojtunik on the speed wheels.
